In this blog, you can join me on my journey through every book I read.
I will explore the enchanting worlds of historical fiction and mystery novels. Whether it’s an intricate Tudor secret, a tale of world war resilience, or a modern day crime case, I’m here to share my reviews, recommendations, and random thoughts along the way.
Don’t be surprised if you find a smattering of other genres though. If a book has a gripping narrative that promises to fully immerse me, I’ll want to read it!
While I do love reading, I sometimes struggle to find the time to do it. After pushing my love of reading and writing stories aside and focusing on my maths degree, I’ve started to dip back into both of these.
I’ve had a goal of reading twelve books in a year for a couple of years now. In 2024, I managed to complete 10 which I am very proud of!
With a new year beginning, I’m as optimistic as ever that this year will be the year! Stick around to find out!

In my discussion posts, I’ll take you through my thoughts as I get further into each story. There may be spoilers but don’t worry, I’ll let you know in each post if there are any spoilers!
Once I’ve finished a book, I’ll also share my review and whether or not I would recommend it. All of my reviews are 100% honest and made up of my genuine reflections on each book.
